Children first learn about the world through their senses. They touch and see people and objects, hear noises, experience smells and tastes, and explore their bodies' ability to move through space against the force of gravity. These pieces of sensory information integrate to give the child an understanding of the environment and a sense of well-being and security. This neurological process can have a significant impact on behaviour and emotional well-being.

GROWING SENSORY SMART is a groundbreaking course presented by two highly qualified occupational therapists with specialised training in sensory integration and 38 years experience between them.

Courses run on a Saturday morning, usually twice a term. Parents, teachers and other professionals are welcome. Groups will be kept to a maximum of ten participants per course. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
