Groot Avante Events and Equestrian is the very exciting joint venture between Nikki and Manon, two sisters, with the same, yet very different ideas. We think that this just makes our business even better!

The events side is run by Nikki. With years of experience in health, beauty, production and set design, photography and admin and business skills. Nikki studied at the International Academy of Health and Skincare, Corpo Sano, City Varsity and Stellenbosch Academy of Design and Photography. Nikki has always loved children, the reason she wishes to combine her skills and throw your child the perfect birthday party! The event venue is also open for other functions and events, besides kids.

Manon is not your typical horse woman. She has completed her SANEF (South African National Equestrian Federation) level 1, and is a qualified paramedic. Manon is permanently furthering her education in the horse field and has done advanced courses and thesises on saddle fitting, shoeing dynamics, to name a few!
Manon strives to pair her students with suitable ponies or horses, the ideal saddle and riding gear. Manon focuses on showing, dressage, show jumping and carriage driving instruction.

Our function venue is equipped with a full catering kitchen, two female bathrooms, two male bathrooms, as well as a paraplegic bathroom and shower room.

Our equestrian facility utilizes the function venue as a club house. We offer a full size dressage arena, the greenest grass in the area for lessons in showing or jumping as well as stables for liveries should you wish to stable your horse with us.

Besides horses and parties, we are also open for the following:
- Dog show venue
- Equestrian clinics
- Sports events: Kids rugby, Crossfit Competitions, Boot Camp
- School reunions
- Pony and Holiday camps
