Grasslands Safaris

Grasslands Safaris is situated in the Free State province of South Africa. We offer wing shooting on vast concession areas as well as plains game hunting on our own property and neighbouring concessions.

We target only wild birds on a sustainable model, as we have been doing for the past 20+ years. We know what it takes to create a memorable hunting experience. Exclusive access to the best concessions in the area, very limited pressure on bird populations, well trained gun dogs and comfortable accommodation all contribute towards the perfect stay.

The owners, Carel and Carine Coetzer, will welcome you to the lodge and make sure that if you arrive as a client, you will leave as a friend. The original farmhouse has been converted to a lodge, with all rooms being en suite and well appointed. The family has strong ties to the land and the area, with the farm being in the family for more than a century.
