Goodwood Rugby Club

Goodwood Rugby Football Club is one of the oldest rugby clubs in Western Province. We’re celebrating our 75th year of existence in 2016.

As a community based club, we are very proud of our heritage. We are currently competing in the Super B League in 2016 and have three senior teams and one u/20 team.

As management, we realize that the backbone of any club is the youth and their involvement in the game after school. We are therefore committed to encourage youngsters from the surrounding areas to come and join our club, where we will mould them into the new generation of up and coming stars, but more importantly, teach them the valuable life lessons that one can take from the beautiful game of rugby.

Rugby appeals to a wide corporate and community demographic in South Africa and opportunities have increased significantly due to the success of the Goodwood Rugby Football Club.
