With LTSM coordinators having the added responsibility of ordering and managing the textbook supplies from many publishers. Although publishers offer discounts to schools, Global Book Company (Pty) Ltd Books is able to offer far more competitive discounts to such schools.

Global Book Company (Pty) Ltd currently manages textbook supply to over 40 schools in Gauteng and currently undertakes the packing of book packs and transport logistics to Ashton International College in Benoni 1000 packs being delivered at the beginning of each academic school year.

Currently, Global Book Company (Pty) represents over 150 publishers across South Africa and abroad including, Maskew Miller Longman, Oxford University Press and Macmillan and is fully up to date with the South African CAPS curriculum requirements.

MOVING WITH THE TIMES

As many Private Schools request that parents source Textbooks from lists provided to them by the schools, Global Book Company (Pty) Ltd has since extended its boundaries across South Africa with its sister e-commerce site launched in October 2014 called Beyond Books. (www.beyondbooks.co.za).

Parents are able to Register, Order, make Secure Online payments through Payfast as well as have their textbooks delivered to their door right across South Africa. Since inception in October 2015 Beyond Books has over 150 registered parents ordering through this system. Besides hardcover titles available to order online, Beyond Books has an Ebook link whereby students, parents and teachers can register and download not only Ebooks for the South African Curriculum but also International educational titles.
