Gears for Africa is a BEE compliant enterprise with a Level 3 contribution status.
Gears can be inspected for backlash, pitch, profile, lead, tooth to tooth spacing and composite tolerances.
In-process inspections take place constantly as components are manufactured. Skilled machinists and inspectors document inspections in an environmentally controlled inspection laboratory. A constant temperature and humidity level is held to ensure consistency in all measurements. All instruments are calibrated and certified to maintain the highest degree of accuracy.
