Galaxy Bistro opened its doors on 1 September just outside Uitenhage on Union road at the Galaxy Bingo Gaming and Entertainment development. The outside wooden deck built around a cork tree certainly catches the eye and makes for a unique experience. Galaxy Bistro with a different, vibrant and exciting new twist, joins the Galaxy Group’s existing restaurant offerings such as Galaxy Grill which is located at Moffet on Main lifestyle centre in Port Elizabeth.

The restaurant focuses on providing quality food at surprisingly affordable prices and includes an interesting menu for everyone’s taste - from breakfast to speciality pizzas and burgers and your favourite grill items. Also dare to try the signature Chocolate Volcano desert!

Uitenhage has long waited for a new exciting gaming, restaurant and entertainment offering and Galaxy Bistro as part of this new development is sure to make a big impression on the town and the surrounding communities.

In addition to the R25m capital injection, it is a positive development for the Uitenhage area, with many employment opportunities created (almost 100 full time staff), local procurement and SED initiatives which will bring further benefit to Uitenhage, Despatch, the surrounding communities and the Eastern Cape.

The licenced restaurant provides beverage specials 7 days a week, which are hard to beat. For example filter coffee and tea for just R9, Castle lite or a glass of wine for R19 and many other reasonably priced options are available.
