If peace and tranquillity and being in the middle of nature is what you’re after, then this is the break for you. Enjoy breakfast at the counter in the kitchen, whilst overlooking a field of diverse fynbos. Wake up to the sound of the waves breaking on the shore. Enjoy your early morning coffee on the patio, and watch the birds hop from plant to plant whilst singing away. Don’t be surprised to see an ostrich or two come strolling right by you, or a dassie soaking in the sunshine in the street. At night, you might see the red eyes of a red bokkie in the dark. In August, the fynbos comes alive with all the vibrant colours Spring has to offer. In September, if you’re lucky you may be treated to the sight of whales in the bay.

FYNBOS & SEA is a modern 4 bedroom, fully halaal, holiday house that easily accommodates 8 people comfortably. The house is perched on a hill, in Pearl Bay Heights, Yzerfontein, approx. 200m from the sea, and boast a beautiful ocean view including Dassen Island on the one side and the rolling hills of Darling on the other. On a clear day, the outline of Table Mountain is clearly visible from the balcony. The properties in Pearly Bay heights, have been laid out in such a way by town planners, that they border large portions of fynbos reserve.

This architecturally designed house, is built in such a way that every one of the four bedrooms, has a sliding door opening onto either the 1st floor balcony or ground floor patio, bringing the sound and smell of nature and the sea right into the bedrooms. Both the main bedroom, equipped with a queen sized bed and the ground floor guest bedroom, equipped with twin beds, are en-suite, each boasting a shower, loo and very large basin counter top for comfortable use. The two twin bedrooms, are adjacent to a full bathroom featuring a modern, free standing bath, shower, extra large basin counter top, in addition to the loo. The ground floor, also features a guest toilet for ease of use. The 1st floor also boasts a pyjama lounge, with beautiful views of the ocean and 3m wide sliding doors opening up onto a the balcony, is fitted with an oversized slouch couch, for those laid back afternoon naps, or an area to escape to with a book!

The fully fitted kitchen has a large 2,3m wide breakfast counter, overlooking the Fynbos reserve, features a convection microwave, convection oven, gas and ceran hob combo, double door fridge, dishwasher, washing machine. The oversized dining table seats 8 comfortably and the lounge is equipped with a 40 inch flat screen, with USB capability, so remember to bring a supply of movies to enjoy. The adjoining kitchen/dining/lounge area, leads onto a large overhead covered patio, featuring a stainless steel, built in braai, for those laid back holiday meals.

A double garage, will house your cars safely and the house is fully alarmed, with the MSS armed response available 24hrs a day.
The town itself is very laid back, with the SPAR being 2.5kms away. Yzerfontein boasts the longest piece of continuous beach (16 mile beach)
