Fresh at Paul Cluver is a small family business, owned and managed by partners Chef Damian Dearlove and Niki Hall-Jones. Fresh finds its home on the magnificent De Rust Estate, nestled in the folds of the Groenland Mountains in the Elgin Valley, amid the hustle and bustle of a busy, working farm.

We are passionate about offering an integrated, connected, humble dining experience. It makes intrinsic sense to us that guests are able to make a visceral, real connection with where their food comes from and our ever-changing seasonal menu is always lead by the best of what is available from our beautiful vegetable garden. We are committed to working with heirloom seeds and grow many varieties of (sometimes) strange and wonderful vegetables, all of which find their way onto a plate in one way or another.

We also work closely with a small group trusted local suppliers; people who work with same ethic and beliefs we do. For us, food is a gift, an offering, an opportunity to nourish more than just one’s body.

We strive to offer simply prepared, beautiful food in an informal and relaxed environment, affording a dining experience that is warm and uncomplicated, yet unforgettable.
