Fourways Equestrian Club

Fourways Equestrian Club is the result of Marion Clough's long term commitment to horses and the life that it entails.

In a previous life, Marion was a horse rider herself and served for many years on many committees and competed in many shows. She continues to pursue her dreams of working with horses and assisted others in doing the same.

FEI II Instructors qualification
International Course Builders Licence
Has a nationally recognised teaching and equine qualification, to supplement all her years of experience.
With experience Dressage, Eventing, Show Jumping and Equetation with vast expertise in both jumping and flat work she is truly an acclaimed horse person, therefore giving back in the form of Fourways Equestrian Club makes so much sense.

Fourways Equestrian Club is based at Fourways Riding Centre. all Administration takes place from our premises. the Executive running the club is made up by volenteers who give up their free time to make sure that the sport is handled correctly and ensuring that your money is well spent to improve facilities and provide shows that will bring you and your horse the possibility to advance through the grades

Fourways Equestrian Club has been a club of choice in the greater Gauteng for the past 2 years. What makes it so attractive is the fact that it is easy accessable for those who reside in Midrand, Fourways, Kyalami, and Centurion. it is situated on a main road giving you quick access to main roads such as the N1 and N14/R28.

The Facilities include:

FEI standard Arena which can be devided into two stunning dressage arena's
1 split level grass arena with dyke, bank and steps for a Derby show
3rd Large Sand Arena

Eventing track

Our latest improvements have been:

New Milton Arena with newly planted grass and judges box. soon it will host a new "Presidential Seating Lapa" which will provide guests with a lovely place to sit.

You can become a member of Fourways Equestrian Club by paying your club fees and filling in the necessary paper work. Everyone has the opportunity to compete in our competitions and stand the chance to be elected for the club champs teams or be a non-competitive member. All members must create an account our forum if possible, this does not however mean you have become an official member of the club.

Although non-competitive members do not ride on a team, they have the opportunity to participate in all club events. We offer non-competitive members the opportunity to work on the committee or be part of our social events or partake in organizing shows and sponsorship.

Other club activities include volunteering with our participating in club fundraisers, and venturing out on club social events. Any of the club members may also request to take lessons with any of the designated instructors at Fourways Equestrian Club!

The Fourways Equestrian Club offers the opportunity to its members to qualify for one of the competitive teams: Dressage, Eventing, Equitation, Western, Tent Pegging, Vaulting, Show Jumping, Showing and Western Riding. We encourage all our potential team members to compete as hard as they can to be on one of the teams! All teams require members to be committed to riding. Team selection will take place over a couple of qualifying shows held at Fourways Equestrian Club.
