For the Love of God

IF NOT FOR GOD is ideally created for sharing daily messages, biblical words, counseling and encouraging words to inspire people and help them in prayer. IF NOT FOR GOD is ideal for people who have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and also for those who long to build their relationship with God and become more efficient in their work places, communities and churches. What is “IF NOT FOR GOD”? This is a phrase that makes one understand that the act of coming out of a trial victorious or overcoming a challenge whether great or small is by the ever-sufficient Grace of God. There are many circumstances that we encounter and when we eventually overcome them, we should recognise that it was definitely God at work.


IF NOT FOR GOD is founded by Stephen Oluwatunbi Akindayomi. (Pa Akindayomi’s Grandson, Founder of the Redeemed Christian Church of God). “Oluwatunbi” means born-again. This makes me believe that Satan lost the battle over me from the day I was born. In Matthew; chapter 2, Satan lost when Jesus was born in a manger and in the wilderness, Satan lost again. At the mount of transfiguration, at the crucifixion Satan lost again, when Jesus rose triumphantly from the grave and at the ascension Satan lost once more. It is such fun to see Satan lose. For you to connect with God you have to believe and fear not, just believe in God and not in man. Truly Jesus’ aim was to go and heal Jairus’ daughter, yet the woman with issue of blood tapped into Jesus’ anointing and touched His garment. Along the way, Jesus found a lost sheep (Luke 8: 41-56). Have you been rejected by the world or even by your own people that they have reduced you to ‘little or nothing’? You are not the first and you will not be the last. I have faced similar circumstances even Jesus Christ faced it as well and this is what Jesus Christ said “The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. This was the LORD’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes” (Matthew 21:42) I pray today that regardless of whom God has planned to bless this day, He’ll not pass you by in Jesus name.



How Do I Change?

• If I feel depressed, I will sing.
• If I feel sad, I will laugh.
• If I feel ill, I will double my labor.
• If I feel afraid, I will plunge ahead.
• If I feel inferior, I will wear new garments.
• If I feel uncertain, I will raise my voice.
• If I feel impoverished, I will think of the wealth to come.
• If I feel incompetent, I will think of past success.
• If I feel insignificant, I will remember my goals.
• Today I will be the Master of my emotions.


BELOVED: Live a life that will label you ‘kind and friendly’ to everyone and you will be surprised how happy you will be in life. MY ADVICE FOR YOU: A famous old saying goes like this: The world is divided into people who do things and people who talk about doing things. Belong to the first group because there is far less competition.
