The Cederburg is a mountain range famous for hiking and mountain biking.

Eliands Bay west coast is 60 km's from Flora house and boasts one of the best left hand point breaks in the world. Many other breaks feature on the west coast area.

Flower Season starts beginning of spring (official dates 1 August till the end of September). The town of Clanwilliam is infamous for flower shows with some of the best flower locations in close proximity to the town. Scenic drives include Ramskop nature reserve, Bidow Valley, the historical village of Wuperthal and Nivoetvi.
