Fern Cottage, Kei Mouth

Fern Cottage is a self-catering unit ideal for a couple, who require a safe and quiet getaway. The cottage is situated in a tranquil area of Kei Mouth, just 320m from the ocean and overlooks the Golf Course, with a private garden braai area.

Guests will find the location ideal as a vacation site. Take walks on the beach which is suitable for swimming. The Morgan Bay Lagoon is also a great place for swimming, as well as fishing further upstream. There are various walks and trails to explore, and for the more energetic, try out surfing and horse riding.

The unit comprises of one bedroom fitted with a double bed (all linen provided) and a private bathroom with a shower. The rest of the cottage offers a comfortable lounge area and a fully equipped kitchen for your self-catering purposes. There is a private braai area overlooking the lovely bush veld and safe and secure parking is provided for your peace of mind. TV that is cabled for DSTV (bring your own) and Wi-Fi connectivity with excellent 3G reception.

The cottage was fully renovated in August 2015, with aluminum windows all round, security, extended outside relaxation area and a brand new double bed for those quiet nights listening to the waves in the distance.

The rates are seasonal - IN SEASON: over Christmas / Easter / School Holidays and OUT OF SEASON: rest of the year. Cleaning service available on request at R80.00/day or R40.00 for mornings.

In Season - R550.00 per day/ Out of Season - R275.00 per day

Wonderful place to stay for a couple with all of the facilities you could need for a getaway. Jenni and I had a fantastic time even after being rained out for 3 days!
