Estate 28 functions and weddings is situated on the outskirts of colleen glen, approximately 15 minutes, drive from Port Elizabeth. And 5 minutes from Maitlands beach and spectacular sand dunes.

The island state forest is our neighbour. The spectacular view of valley’s, rolling hills and the not too distant sea view with Jeffrey’s Bay in the background, lends itself to numerous photo opportunities.

The weddings of our daughters on the farm made us realize that the property should be shared with the general public and we set about obtaining the requires council’s special consent to operate a tourism business as the area is zoned for agriculture.With the license being granted we are now ready to offer marquee weddings with a unlimited amount of guests and smaller intimate functions for up to 80 guest in our permanent building.

We also operate a hiring service from our farm under the name of Acorn Hire. The company supplies all goods required for weddings and functions. It is also connected to a network of service providers to ensure total coverage of quantities and requirements.

We can therefore provide a one stop shop for weddings or functions quotation. We also offer a co-coordinating service, caterer ,photographer,DJ, set up ,cleaning,and waiters. We are a fully licensed venue.
