EQUALITI was established in October 2012 to reduce health inequalities in Africa and the Middle East through Health Impact Assessment (HIA) and ensure quality in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) through a process of EIA Project Management and Peer Review.

Danie Neumann, the founder of Equaliti, has more than 25 years impact assessment experience and is a Registered Medical Scientist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and a Certified Environmental Assessment Practitioner with the Interim Certification Board for Environmental Assessment Practitioners of South Africa (EAPSA). Danie is also a Registered Natural Scientist (Pr. Sci. Nat.) registered at the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP) in the categories Environmental and Biological Scientist.
