Ensemble Balkan SA

Ensemble Balkan SA was established in 2011 by Zoran Lagator in Johannesburg South Africa. Zoran Lagator is not only the founder of the international folklore group, he is also the choreographer. The group is comprised of over twenty dancers all of which are of different nationalities, based in Johannesburg.

Ensemble Balkan SA has taken part in international folklore festivals all over the world, from Spain, to Montenegro and even Brazil. The group has now become a member of the International Council of Organisations of Folklore Festivals and Folk Art - CIOFF® and will be competing as representatives of South Africa in their festivals soon to come.
