Elpetra Restoration Centre

The name of our Restoration Centre comes from the Hebrew word for God, “El”, and from the word “petra” which means rock in Greek. We are a christian ministry and offer descipleship and leadership programs, so therefore we are a restoration centre devoted to God’s Word, His authority, and consequently – His favour. Our mandate is based on the Word of God. For the Bible says, “ ...whoever hears theses sayings of Mine , and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock” ( Matthew 7:23-25).

Jesus states that His ministry is to the poor, the brokenhearted, and those held captive by sin (Luke 4:18-21). As Christians, we are charged with that same undertaking (John 14:12/15:16/17:18) so that the church (His body) can manifest wonderful results here on Earth (Isaiah 32:1-2). We therefore align our ministry in accordance with God’s plan for the destitute and needy which is stated repeatedly in Proverbs (14:21 / 19:17 / 28: 27/ 29:7) and Matthew 25:32-46: "I tell you the truth whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me”.

Our ministry has has strong ties with the community, whereby we offer a Restoration Centre to help people recover from self-destructive and addictive behaviors, and we organize frequent community outreaches to promote Christianity.

Our Restoration Program, disciple school and Bible school are the consequence of our vision to disciple destitute for the world harvest fields in accordance with Hebrews 7: 25 " He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through him, since He always lives to make intercession for them".

We have an holistic approach to discipleship and promote Christianity as a lifestyle . Our leadership have living relationships with God, and their testimonies bear witness to God changing despair into triumph (Luke 7:39-47) and love for fellow man.
