Elandsvlei Estate

Founded in June 2016 by Nicolas Bouckaert and Margaux Vanden Avenne, Elandsvlei Estate is committed to breeding of top-quality game animals in the beautiful Waterberg Mountains of Limpopo, South Africa.

Elandsvlei Estate focuses on the breeding of disease-free African Cape Buffalo and other species including Sable Antelope, Nyala, Hartwater Springbok, Black Impala, and Golden Wildebeest.

Elandsvlei Estate is also home to various plains game animals such as Giraffe, Zebra, Kudu, Gemsbok, Eland, Red Hartebeest, Mountain Reedbuck, Bushbuck, Impala, Warthog, and many others.

Originally from Belgium and the United States, Margaux and Nicolas have several years of work experience in the Manufacturing, Entertainment, Animal Feed, and Meat Processing sectors. In June 2016, they decided to begin a new life in the South African bush with their 1 year old daughter Claire!
