Education Expert

Education Expert is a Potchefstroom based company focussing on the development, and meaningful structure of educational systems and programmes in a fun and interactive way. Founded in 2007 by the Director, professor Hennie Steyn and his daughter, Hilette Steyn (MEd) this is a family business rooted in a passion for educating with self-sustainable, long-term effects.
eCindi – a product of Education Expert – is a technology based programme developed to enhance and improve school readiness skills in Grade R learners. Comprising of Digital Book Discs on DVD platform, this 30 week (5 days a week) plan is suitable for viewing on a standard television set with a DVD player, or alternatively a computer.
The eCindi package includes everything the facilitator/parent/teacher and learner need to implement or use the programme with optimal outcome:

- Teacher’s Guide with detailed guidelines for each lesson, which includes specified outcomes and resources needed.
- DVD’s with interactive daily lessons.
- Activity sheets for learners.
- User-friendly assessment documents for facilitator/teacher/parent.
Although the programme is aimed at Grade R learners it can definitely be of great value to any child between the ages of 4 and 8 years. With eCindi being 100% compliant with CAPS of the Department of Basic Education it can either serve as the primary/important resource in a child’s development or simply be an additional aid to focus on or highlight certain skills.
