OUR CALLING AS FULLTIME MISSIONARIES

In 2008, Andre and Martie were called as missionaries to Zambia. They completed Discipleship- and Mission training at FCE(Foundation for Cross Cultural Education), a missions organization in Zambia. They joined Operation Mobilization during 2011 and lived in Kang’omba village closed to Kabwe where they started working among the people in the villages. During September 2014 they felt the urge to leave Kabwe and to move to the more unreached Western Part of Zambia, called Barotseland.

I July 2015 Andre was diagnosed with colon cancer which meant that they had to be closer to medical care. God proved in wonderful ways and gave Andre and Martie a new vision. Mission work will always be their calling and passion and they became involved in an Echo project on a farm in Frankfort. The mission of this project is to provide a safe haven for young men who needs a place of stability love and acceptance.

Andre and Martie's vision for this farm is to establish a self sustaining farm according to the Farming God's ways principles. The young men will be involved in this and through these principles will be taught the Gospel and important life skills to take out to the rest of the world.
