Due South Language Academy

Due South was founded in 2016 after realizing that there was not a language learning facility within close driving distance for residents of Midrand, South Africa.
David Steyn, the founder and owner, has 10 years in education. He has worked with a variety of different language speakers from across the world. David has been involved with teaching in South Korea, where he taught students from Korea, Japan, Thailand, Russia and even France. During his time in South Korea David was involved in teacher training, working with Korean, Russian, Thai and Japanese teachers in teaching English in English. Since being back in South Africa, David has been the Head of Programme for the English Language Foundation Programme at the Pearson Institute of Higher Education, formerly known as the Midrand Graduate Institute.
David has obtained his Masters Degree from the University of Nottingham. He has a true passion for language education and seeing people grow in their language knowledge.
At Due South Language Academy, we aim to provide you with quality language instruction. Our courses give you lots of opportunity to practice your new found language ability. We aim to keep our class sizes small, with a maximum of 12 students per class, so that students can have the opportunity to have some more individualised teacher time.
At Due South, we truly believe that the best way to learn English is through practice. Our lessons are therefore aimed at communicative exercises where students will be interactively participating in the lessons that are offered. Students can expect a wide variety of lessons and topics that will be very engaging and interesting.
