Drie Kuilen Nature Reserve

Drie Kuilen Nature Reserve is situated in the Waboom Mountains in the Montagu district. Just over two hour’s drive from Cape Town, this mountainous terrain stretches over 4300ha with a rich variety of flora and fauna. Come enjoy our tranquil surroundings and stay for a few days.
Enjoy a weekend near nature.
• Go hiking up to Popular Forest.
• Be astonished by the amazing rock formations.
• Take a game drive to see the unique landscape features, the stunning flora and some very unique animals.

Guests making use of our accommodation are welcome to explore the reserve for free on foot, on bicycles or in your your own 4x4 vehicle. Please stay on the demarcated roads at all times. We also offer traditional Game Drives for an extra fee (max 10 people per trip).
