I matriculated at Woodlands Secondary School in Pietermaritzburg and then pursued my undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the University of the Witwatersrand. I graduated as a specialist Obstetrician/Gynaecologist in 2005. I worked at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, the largest hospital in South Africa. I supervised research, participated in research and was involved in academic activities.
I have chosen not to perform deliveries or to operate and, thus I see women and girls with medical gynaecological problems.
I have a group of competent colleagues to whom I refer my patients for delivery and surgery should the need arise.
