I am a qualified and registered Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, with consulting rooms and operating privileges at Life Vincent Pallotti Hospital in Pinelands and Netcare Blaauwberg Hospital in Sunningdale, Cape Town.
My specicific fields of interest are cosmetic surgery of the breast and face, including Botox and Dermal Fillers, breast reconstruction after breast cancer, ear reconstruction (microtia) and reconstruction for skin cancer.
I underwent medical and surgical training at the University of Stellenbosch Medical School and the University of Cape Town Medical School in Cape Town.

After completing my specialist medical and surgical studies and training, I completed a fellowship in Paris, France to obtain in depth experience and training in specialised cosmetic surgery techniques and to learn the unique skill of reconstructing deformities of the outer ear by utilising rib cartilage, from Dr Francois Firmin, a world leader in this area. I visited various medical institutions in England, Europe and the United States of America in an effort to learn more about professional patient care and practice management before committing to private practice in July 2001.

In the interest of my patients and personal self-development, I regularly attend international conferences, clinical training sessions and academic meetings. I have presented papers at local and international congresses, and keep abreast of the newest proven techniques and skills, applying these in my practice to the benefit of my patients.

My reputation for excellence is based on my personal availability, my hands-on approach, my sensitivity and support of my patients both before and after surgery.

I am supported by an outstanding patient care team of nurses, therapists and admin staff, who are committed to offering excellent individualised attention to my patients.

I only use the services of registered specialist anaesthesiologists, who are experienced with regards to plastic and reconstructive surgery and who share my ethos and commitment to patient care.
