Dorpshuis

Dorpshuis is 'n daghuis vir alle leerlinge van Hoërskool Ermelo wat nie 'n koshuis bewoon nie.

Dorpshuis gives learners the opportunity to stay after school for a meal, do their homework, or participate in afterschool activities, all without having to go home first.

Ons fondasie vir al ons bedrywighede word afgelei van ons leuse "Ancrée dans la foi" - wat "Geanker in Geloof" beteken.

Ons het ons eie Dorpsraad, wat bestaan uit graad 12-leerlinge, met voorsitters, wat leiding neem in Dorpshuis. Die Dorpies het ook daarmee saam 'n huisvoog en diensdoenende personeel.

Daar word jaarliks groentjiekonsert-dirigente verkies, waar graad 11-Dorpies die geleentheid kry om ook leiding te neem.

Leerlinge wat in die dorp bly neem deel aan die groentjiekonsert, as deel van Dorpshuis.

The biggest difference between Dorpshuis and the other hostels, is that with Dorpshuis you still get to eat your mother's food at night!

Dorpies serve the community in a wide range of projects where learners get the opportunity to be part of upliftment and outreach events. During the course of the year special attention is also given to our own learners' personal development.

Ons bring steeds hulde aan dit wat voor ons gekom het, daarom is daar 'n Adriani-gedenkmuur, waar alles wat te doen het met Adriani daar uitgestal word.
