DEVOCEAN Resorts

The DEVOCEAN Tented Camp is a cosy dive and surf resort in Ponta Do Ouro, Southern Mozambique. Ponta do Ouro is a picturesque little village situated approximately 10 km north of the Kosi Bay, South African border.

Our tents are pitched in the shade of exotic trees, right in the centre of Ponta do Ouro. All tents have double- or single beds, lamps, fans, power points, side tables and shelf space. There is a choice between Safari Style (2 adults) and Family Comfort (3 adults).All linen is provided, excluding bath- and beach towels. There are separate male- and female ablutions with two hot/cold water shower facilities and two toilets each available.

Relax in the communal lapa area where you can mingle, play board games, read magazines or books, enjoy a snack or have a drink from our bar. Our own kitchen staff serves up to three meals per day. On offer are a 'wake-up' kind of breakfast with a fresh coffee or tea and a selection of cakes, muffins and biscuits. Later in the morning we serve a wholesome 2 course brunch with fresh fruits, yoghurt, muesli, pancakes, bread, a selection of spreads and jams and a hot plate. In the early evening we serve our fixed menu 3-course dinners that made us famous in all of Ponta and far beyond. It is advised to book your meals with your reservation since Ponta is a remote village with hardly any supplies. To be able to spoil you with good things, we need to organize our logistics well in advance.

For the odd occasion we do have a large pit fire place. Snacks are available from the bar during most of the afternoon. Tea, coffee and drinking water from a local well are complimentary and self-serviced throughout the day.

Passionate and experienced professionals will guide you to learn diving, continue your diving education, or just relax and explore the Indian Ocean. Other activities include surfing, fishing, kite surfing, swimming with dolphins, hiking, quad biking and off-roading.
