Deist Physiotherapists strive to provide the highest quality physiotherapy service to all categories of patients, referring practitioners and the community. They are a team of of passionate and experienced physiotherapists with a special interest in pelvic health and lymph-node treatments.

The practice was opened in 2006 at Mediclinic Kloof, Pretoria. In and out patients are treated with numerous problems e.g. orthopaedic rehabilitation post operative, lung conditions, back and neck problems and sports injuries.

Isabel has been in private practice for the past 19 years and a private practice owner for 15 years there of. She has a special interest in pelvic pain and pelvic floor rehabilitation and has been part of the My Sexual Health team for the past 7 years.

In 2008, Deist Physiotherapists also became part of the My Sexual Health team, treating pelvic pain and incontinence. This has since grown into a pelvic rehabilitation centre treating anorectal (anal/rectal) problems, genitourinary system or urogenital system (reproductive/urinary) problems, and pre and post-natal (pregnancy) patients. Talks at the hospital on pelvic issues during and after pregnancy have also been held.

At present a new scope has been added to our services, namely lymphatic drainage.

The practice is aiming to establish a pelvic rehabilitation centre well known in the area, promoting physiotherapy services that the public may not always associate physiotherapy with. This practices is a place where gynaecologists, urologists and colo-rectal surgeons can refer their patients with complications post-surgery or that can not necessarily be treated with surgery.

Having an in-house physiotherapist with international training in lymphatic drainage, Deist Physiotherapists are also aiming to provide a service in Pretoria East for patients, that currently need to travel to other hospitals or practices further away from the area.
We welcome invites to talks, on educating the public on all services rendered by physiotherapists and on different conditions and to write for media publications on our treatment offerings.
