De Toren Private Cellar

De Toren Private Cellar, a boutique winery specializing in luxurious, world-class Bordeaux-style wines is situated on the Polkadraai Hills overlooking the picturesque Stellenbosch, False Bay to the south and the renowned Table Mountain in the west.

In 2016, De Toren was ranked as one of the Top 10 Red Wine Producers in South Africa by the South African Wine Index. Both the De Toren Fusion V and the De Toren Z Bordeaux-styled blends were awarded Platinum status by SAWI.

All five Bordeaux varietals are grown on the farm, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot. The attention to detail when it comes to the nurturing of the vineyards, the gentle winemaking process, combined with passion and the labour of love is reflected in the exceptional wine range De Toren is renowned for.
