De Nieuwehuisie is a comfortable self-catering garden flat situated in the quite residential area of Strand North. Just 300m from the beach it’s the perfect place to relax and explore the surroundings – away from the noise and busyness of the main street. Just a few minutes’ drive from Somerset Mall, Strand Golf Course, Strand Water World, restaurants, pubs and take away restaurants.

The neat, spacious and comfortable one bedroom unit is perfect for two people, additional sleeping arrangements can be made for an extra two people (family of 4). It’s got a private entrance, separate alarm system and safe parking for one vehicle in a garage, additional parking can also be arranged for one additional vehicle. The unit is fully equipped and furnished with a double bed in the bedroom, living room with a sleeper couch, kitchen (fridge/freezer, microwave, 2 plate stove/oven), bathroom (shower, toilet and basin) and a private braai area. Bedding and bath towels will be provided, but may not be removed from the unit. Full DSTV available. No smoking inside the unit and unfortunately no pets are allowed.

There are lots to do and see in and around Strand, for example Monkey Town and the Cheetah Outreach in Somerset West, Cape Whale route to Hermanus, Helderberg Nature Reserve and the Stellenbosch and Franschoek wine routes, which include the famous Butterfly World and the Mooiberg Farmstall, with the Strawberry Safari next to it. Cape Town is only 60km away where you can go up Table Mountain with the cable cars, or visit the V&A Waterfront and the Two Oceans Aquarium or take a boat trip to Robben Island

Easy access to and from the N2 and R44, with Cape Town International Airport just 32km away.
