Darul Uloom Pretoria

The Darul Uloom Pretoria - Pretoria Islamic Educational Centre was founded in south Africa in the year 1989 as an institute of higher Islamic education for local communities. Twenty years later, it has become an educational institute of global repute. It has produced hundreds of Ullama & Huffaz that are serving Islam & humanity all around the globe and currently hosts more than 17 countries students. Furthermore the institute currently has four branches in the major cities of South Africa. The head branch is located in Laudium Pretoria whereas a major branch in Cape Town- CTIEC- caters for well over 150 part time & full time students. Another branch in pretoria functions as an Islamic dawn centre which propagates Islam, as well as humanitarian aid, to the needy societies from surrounding areas. A branch may also be found in Durban, which currently provides part time & full time Hifzul Quran & Tajweed courses.
