Dance Therapy offers a safe environment in which to explore and process deep discomfort of a mental, physical and emotional nature, by harnessing the power of the subconscious mind and using the body's innate ability to heal itself, without interference from conscious thought processes. Through individual therapy sessions, a combination of ballet, modern and contemporary dance are taught with a focus on the feel of each movement, enabling a deeper connection to be established between the mind, body and emotions, thereby allowing the subconscious mind to process previous and current traumatic experiences and emotional issues.
