Crossfit Ivory is based on the corner of Gordon and Hendrik Potgieter Roads in Roodepoort
Crossfit is defined by it’s founder Greg Glassman as ”constantly varied functional movements performed at relatively high intensity” these movements may include:
- Olympic weightlifting
- Gymnastics
- Kettlebell workouts
- Bodyweight exercises
A workout will be predetermined by the coach and performed with other persons in a group class. The workout is called the Workout of the Day (WOD). Workouts normally include:
- Warmup
- Skills practice
- Strength workout
- The main WOD
