Coopers Carriers has been in operation since 1992. Our company is based in Midvaal and specialises in the transportation of mobile accommodation units, site offices, ablutions units, containers, laboratory units and classrooms. Our staff are specially trained and equipped to manually load, offload and level mobile accommodation units and containers. The benefits of manually loading and offloading these units is, firstly, a highly competitive rate compared to crane hire, and secondly, less possible damage to the unit itself.
Coopers Carriers have done transport for various companies within the industry, for example, Kwikspace, and Speedspace. Other long term customers are, ACMS Shelela, Eskom, Group Five, Rotran and Roshcon, to name a few.
Our Company has also been involved in the transportation of various lightweight but abnormal goods, for example, turnstiles, silos and cone crushers. We are able to transport items with a maximum length of 18m, a width of 3,7m and a weight of 16 tons. We deliver to all Southern African countries, except Angola.

1 Crane Truck
Two Dyna, 4 ton flatbed trucks
Five 18m telescopic, extendible, low bed trailers
Six 8m low bed, double axle, semi-trailers
Nine 12m step deck trailers
Five escort vehicles
Coopers Carriers was extensively involved in the Mozal project, delivering mobile accommodation units, site offices, ablutions and containers. We have completed in excess of 1000 trips to Mozambique, delivering and collecting units, varying in size from 6m to 18m double wide units.
We have also been involved in other major projects, for example , Medupi Power Station, The Richards Bay Smelter, Sasol and Secunda annual shut downs, Ngodwana shut downs, Developments in Rosh Pinah, road works in Zambia and the new fuel pipeline between Johannesburg and Durban.
Over the last four years we have been involved with the Department of Education, delivering and siting more than 1200 mobile classrooms in various provinces.
We have vehicles based permanently in Durban, servicing KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape.
