At WAM AIR & COMPRESSORS we pride ourselves on excellent workmanship and superior customer service and Safety. We therefore strive to assist all our clients to comply with the HEALTH AND SAFETY ACT as stipulated in ACT 85 of 1993 regarding the use of compressors, air receivers (Pressure Vessels) including all appurtenances, automatic controls and indicators. We also adhere to the Construction Regulations Act as amended in 2003.

The Minister of Labour has, under section 43 of the occupational Health and Safety Act 1993 (Act 85 of 1993) after consultation with the Advisory Council for Occupational Health and Safety made the Regulation in the Schedule regarding compressors which also regulates the use of air receivers (which is classified as a Pressure Vessel) in as far as regular Pressure Testing (every Three Years). Here we strive to assist all our clients in PRESSURE TESTING and providing all the LOG BOOKS and RECORDS as required under these regulations.

All our staff is available and at your service 24 HOURS a Day 7 days a Week.

The most recent Large supply Line Installations:

• PUTCO: Approximately 3000m complete with 2 x 3000L Pressure Vessel
and 2 x 132KW compressors including Air Driers.

• C.I.S: Approximately 1000m complete with 1000L Pressure Vessel and
Drier with T100 Titan compressor.

• PUTCO ZANDFONTEIN: Approximately 2500m – 3” Pipe Line.

• VOMS INDUSTRIAL :Approximately 1500m - 1½” Supply Line.

• DCD Ring Rollers : Approximately 300 m 3” Airline coupled to 30 m 2.5”Airline , connected to a ring main of 860 m 2” Airline with 590 m downpipes of various sizes.
Further to the airlines, all Water lines and Oil lines up to 6” in size were also installed and connected to the various furnaces and other equipment,
