Community AIDS Response - CARe

Community AIDS Response (CARe) is a non-profit organisation launched in 2000. CARe started as a concerned community’s response to the needs of people living with and impacted by HIV/AIDS. Today, CARe continues to provide quality, holistic care and support for people living with HIV/AIDS and their families. However, just as the needs of the communities in which CARe works have evolved, so have the challenges of providing quality, holistic healthcare. CARe has grown in stride with these challenges and has expanded the services it offers to address a range of communicable and chronic diseases, their drivers, and the methods we use to bring individuals into contact with an initial point of care. Through its dedicated team of professionals, lay caregivers, volunteers, funders, and supporters, CARe is able to identify the communities who need our services most and deliver care via hospitals, clinics, mobile vans and the front door.
