"Where there is a will, there is a way!"

That phrase has been drummed into my being ever since I was a child.
And thanks to the positivity of others, and my natural stubborn character combined, I made it my purpose to succeed at something!
Along with that, add a touch of perfectionism, an inkling of determination, and a whole lot of perseverance, and the result is "Classy Classifieds".
Quite a recipe!

So, now I have created what I always wanted to create, but, I still always got that nagging feeling that something was missing!
I had the Website (with absolutely no customers), a Facebook Page (with no "Likes"), a Twitter Account (with not one person following me), so something was definitely missing in this equation!
A complete recipe for disaster!

So, what did I do to get me to where I am now?
I educated myself!
And though I was not a big fan of blogs, I sure am now!

Blogs and Google combined, are Dynamite!
I Googled and read Blogs on "how to" do just about anything that could make my online business a success!
Considering that my finances were non-existant at this point, due to everything that I head invested into my business, my options were somewhat limited!
But, I saw that as a challenge, and not a reason to give up!

I had a friend help me to re-design my Facebook Page, and from her I learned a lot about Appearance, and how it has an effect on your Business. But if only appearances were everything!
The most important thing I learned through all my research, was about "Engagement".
And ultimately, engagement is what is the life and soul of your business!
You can have a great business, a great concept, a great service, but if you have no engagement, you have no business!~

So I started to concentrate on more ways that I could engage with people who knew about my business through Social Media.
And it worked!
The more I engaged with people, the more they engaged with my business, and so Classy Classifieds began to grow!
People will not come looking for you! You need to go where the people are!

To date, I have expanded to not only just haveing a Website, but also a Blog. I have expanded Classy Classifieds on Social Media (particularly Facebook), where I integrate BBM and Whatsapp with Social Media Advertising.
A relatively new concept.
With so many millions of people using these chat apps, it only makes sense to integrate them with Social Media.

I have also just created an "Ads International"section on my Website for those who want to start advertising in South Africa from abroad. (www.classyclassifieds.co.za)

Am I done yet? With this introduction, yes, with my business, not by a long shot!
So, just as every fairytale has a happy ending, I sincerely hope Classy Classifieds does too!

If you too have the determination to make something work, the best advice I can give is to see it through, no matter what! Never give up, never be too proud to ask for help, always welcome advice, and learn as much as you can. Learn something new everyday, and build your empire on that!
