About us

OUR 5 FOLD VISION
1. It is our vision that we establish a body of believers that love the Lord with all our hearts and our lives, growing in His word and keeping His commands and living lives that WORSHIP Him.
2. It is our vision that we establish a family of unconditional love enhancing FELLOWSHIP towards every member of our church, irrespective of their background and culture, promoting Salvation and justification in Christ Jesus; restoring family support structures and embracing people through God’s love.
3. It is our vision that we promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ through effective EVANGELISM bringing hope to the nations through salvation found in Christ Jesus.
4. It is our vision to effectively DISCIPLE every member of our church enabling people to rightly understand the word of truth.
5. It is our vision to MENTOR leadership in every area of ministry, by developing gifts and talents in obedience to God’s call over our members.

OUR PURPOSE
We aim to accomplish our mission of Worship through submission and obedience to God and His Word through His Holy Spirit, not forsaking the gathering of the Saints (Hebrews 10:25), including even the children (Matthew 19:14), and promoting Evangelism through outreach and tract distribution; Discipleship by bible studies and conferences; and Mentorship through leadership training and character building.

OUR STATEMENT OF BELIEF
1. We believe in the one omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent true God and Him being the eternally self-sufficient and self-existent God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1-3; Genesis 2:4; Exodus; Exodus 6:2-6; Ephesians 4:5-6)
2. We believe that the bible is the inspired inerrable and the infallible word from and of God, and the final revelation from God to man through Jesus Christ. It is the standard of our faith and conduct in life. (2 Timothy 3:16-17;
Peter 2:2)
3. We believe in the Lordship of Jesus Christ (Romans 10:9) as the Son of God, sent by God the Father, to bring salvation and regeneration to the world (John 1:1-5) as well as a revelation of the Father, and the sending of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2) to continue the work of the Lord through the instrumentality of the Church and His people. (Matthew 16:16-18)
4. We believe in the person and work of the Holy Spirit who now guides, directs and empowers the Church to continue the relationship and ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ and our need to personally embrace His (the Holy Spirit’s) ministry in the earth today. (Acts 2:8)
5. We believe in the virgin birth, the life and ministry, the substitutive death and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ and His ultimate return. (Luke 2; Matthew 28:1 and
1 Corinthians 15)
6. We believe that man was created perfect in the very image of God (Genesis 1:26-31), but by voluntary disobedience, he sinned and fell from that glorious state of fellowship with God (Genesis 3:1-19). Man’s only hope is through the redemption of Jesus Christ by grace through faith as a gift from God and not of works, (Romans 10:9-10; Ephesians 2:8-9) and in the power of the redemptive blood of Jesus Christ that brings justification by faith. (Romans 3:21-26)
7. We believe that the evidence of a person’s salvation is the witness of the Spirit inwardly (Romans 8:16) and the evidence of right living and true love for holiness outwardly.
(Luke 1:73-75; Titus 2:12-14) Brotherly love will be evident. (John 13:35; Hebrews 13:1; 1 John 3:14)
8. We believe in the full consummation of the baptism of believers in the Holy Spirit, with evidence of speaking in tongues (not gibberish but intelligible languages) and flowing in the gifts as the spirit of God leads and direct them.
9. We believe that revelation is progressive and that there is much more that we will believe as it is revealed by the Holy Spirit and consistent and in harmony with the written Word of God. (Ephesians 4:11-16)
10. We believe that there is a bodily resurrection (1 Corinthians 15) and therefore there is also a heaven as the living and upward goal (Philippians 3:14) for the righteous in Christ Jesus beyond death. Conversely, we also believe that there is a hell – an eternal separation from the presence of the Living God – for those that are not redeemed, justified and sanctified by and in Christ Jesus. (Matthew 25:31-41; Matthew 7:21-23).
11. We believe that the Great Commission was given by Christ and is binding on every believer to go into all the world preaching the gospel of the Kingdom of God to every creature making disciples of all nations, and that every believer is a minister of reconciliatory Gospel. (Matthew 28:16-20; Mark 16:15; Luke 24:47; 2 Corinthians 5:17-20).
12. We believe in water baptism by immersion and should be observed by all who have truly repented from their sins and publicly accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour By doing this, they make a commitment that they belong to God. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 10:47-48; Romans 6:4)
13. We believe in the ordinance of Holy Communion being the Holy Emblems of the bread and the fruit of the vine. (1 Corinthians 11:23-34)
14. We believe in divine healing and deliverance from oppression through the atonement of Christ. (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17)
15. We believe in the rapture of saints (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Romans 8:23; Titus 2:13); Christ’s second coming (Acts 1:1; Revelation 1:7; Revelation 19:11-21) and the Millennial reign (Revelations 2:27; Isaiah 11:1-10).
16. We believe in the Apostolic creed as our confession and profession of Faith (Council of Nicaea 325; Council of Constantinople 381).
We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, the maker of heaven and earth, of things visible and invisible.
And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the begotten of God the Father, the Only-begotten, that is of the essence of the Father.
God of God, Light of Light, true God of true God, begotten and not made; of the very same nature of the Father, by Whom all things came into being, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible.
Who for us, humanity and for our salvation, came down from heaven, was incarnate, was made human, and was born perfectly of the holy Virgin Mary by the Holy Spirit.
By whom He took; body, soul, and mind, and everything that is in man truly, and not in semblance.
He suffered, was crucified, was buried, rose again on the third day, ascended into heaven with the same body, [and] sat at the right hand of the Father.
He is to come with the same body and with the glory of the Father, to judge the living and the dead; of His kingdom there is no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, in the uncreated and the perfect; Who spoke through the Law, prophets, and Gospels; Who came down upon the Jordan, preached through the apostles, and lived in the saints.
We believe also in only One, Universal, Apostolic, and [Holy] Church; in one baptism in repentance, for the remission, and forgiveness of sins; and in the resurrection of the dead, in the everlasting judgement of souls and bodies, and the Kingdom of Heaven and in the everlasting life.
