Choma, meaning “friend”, is an initiative by HIVSA, a South African NGO, who aims to provide initiatives that have a positive impact on the health outcomes of our nation.

Mission
Our vision is to engage with young women in a fun, entertaining and interactive way that supports, inspires and motivates them to make the best choices thereby keeping themselves healthy and HIV free.
We hope to reduce the impact of HIV/AIDS and other health-related issues on young South Africans, by offering them advice and information which they need to make smart decisions regarding pregnancy, sexual behaviour and their health.

Company Overview
The HIVSA project, ''Bokang Batsha'' (Sesotho for “rejoice in our young people”), is supported by the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project (CTAOP) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development via its implementing agency, GIZ.
