CFC Scaffolding & Formwork

CFC came into being in January 1984 when Colin Poole and Jerry West went into partnership to form the company Cape Formwork Contractors or CFC.

Their goal was to take on the highly competitive scaffolding and formwork market in Cape Town, specialising in scaffold and formwork contracting and hire and sales.

Colin Poole brought a wealth of experience in the field of scaffolding and formwork whilst Jerry West brought his expertise as a chartered accountant. It proved to be the perfect balance, and CFC has grown from strength to strength ever since.

Since the company’s inception and throughout its growth, one fundamental business principle has stood out from the rest as the primary goal of CFC… SERVICE DELIVERY.

A lot has changed since 1984, with the addition of many new members to the CFC family, but one thing remains the same, our commitment to providing our customers with the best possible service and value that we can offer.

It is through CFC’s commitment to service as a trusted contractor that we have forged strong relationships with some of South Africa’s largest and most reputable companies.

We realise, as a scaffolding & formwork company in Cape Town that is involved in the fast-moving and competitive construction industry, there is no room for shortcuts.
