Campfire Academy strives to be a leading role player in promoting sustainability and innovative conservation solutions in the tourism industry and local rural communities.

Since 1999 Tinus Cronje, the founder and owner of Tehillah Conservation Centre, implemented programmes and opportunities for students to make this a reality.

We offer four exciting programs to realize this goal:

FGASA accredited Field Guide training:
Professional 90-day Field Guide course situated in the world-renowned Greater Kruger National Park
Professional 97-day Biome Overland Field Guide course traveling and experiencing the iconic nine-biomes of Southern Africa

Internship placement:
Sound scientific research projects targeting sustainability solutions for the tourism industry and rural communities

Volunteer Placement:
Volunteer adventure for people from all walks of life. Invest your time in research projects that really make a difference on how we as humans impact nature

Wildlife Experience:
Exciting two-week adventure packed with learning opportunities, excursions and phenomenal wildlife encounters
