Buckwheat Bakery

Buckwheat is a pseudograin and not from the same family as wheat. It's the seed of a plant related to rhubarb and sorrel and contains many beneficial minerals.

Buckwheat is suitable for coeliacs, hence the reason why we use it in most of our gluten free baked goodies. Our other favorite grain, Millet, was a wild grain growing across Africa and Asia. It is also naturally free from gluten and a rich source of protein and fibre.

All flours used at Buckwheat Bakery are freshly milled from the natural grain. Spelt, Oats and Wheat are used in our Oat Crunchie and our 5 grain farm rusks.
