In the process of day-to-day life, the body accumulates stresses and strains. These stresses are physical and emotional.
The body only has a certain capacity to deal with these stresses, after which it starts to show signs of “wear and tear”. Pain is the body’s internal maintenance alarm, which brings to our attention that we require a “service”, in the same way that a car requires a service every 15,000 kilometres.
When a person starts to feel pain within the body, it very often is a build-up or accumulation of stresses that has taken place over a long period of time. My approach is to find the initial cause of the pain, and not just to treat the symptoms that have presented themselves.
