Breede River Buzz is an upbeat little news service for the Breede Valley, Witzenberg and Langeberg.

We're not covering the hard stuff, but the things people do every day to make our economies thrive: business, education, tourism, creativity.

We offer readers a brand-new platform to keep up with the happenings in town.

What's in it for businesses? A platform for exposure and a PR service wrapped up in one: we tell your stories beautifully on our news site but also release the content to you for your own marketing purposes.

Breede River Buzz is run by Elana van der Watt, former editor of the Worcester Standard. I'm also the former digital editor for Boland Media (Worcester Standard, Paarl Post, Hermanus Times, Eikestadnuus, Weslander and DistrictMail).

Most of all I'm just a local who love it here, and a mom wanting to raise my kids in a thriving place. This is my contribution to making it thrive.
