Botha & Deysel Motors 101

Botha & Deysel Motors started in the year 1982 when Kobus Deysel and Frikkie Botha sold their first vehicle, a 1976 Volkswagen Passat. They both took a R1000 and put it into the business to open Botha & Deysel Motors Vereeniging on 17 February 1983 with a total stock of only 2 vehicles and sink offices. About a year later they moved their offices to 17 Rhodes Avenue where they are still based today.

ABSA rewarded Botha & Deysel Motors as one of the Golden Dealers since 1989-2011. Botha & Deysel Motors is one of only 2 Dealers that has been chosen as ABSA’s Top Golden dealer for 5 consecutive years. In 2004 the South African Handels institute and Rapport also awarded Botha & Deysel Motors as the 3rd best business in the Country.

In 2011 Kobus Deysel and Frikkie Botha made a business decision to divide the business in to two. The main reason was because of the children that also formed part of the business.

Kobus Deysel carried on as Botha & Deysel Motors 101 situated in 17 Rhodes Avenue, Vereeniging and Frikkie Botha as Botha & Deysel Executive.

Jay Jay Deysel who just like his father has a real passion for motor vehicles joined the business in 2012. The aim for Kobus, Jay Jay and the Botha & Deysel Sales Team is to not only build good customer relationships but also to create lifelong friendships in the business environment.
