Bokmakierie Guesthouse

This spacious old home is situated in Smithfield in the beautiful landscape of the southern Free State, on the N6 from Bloemfontein to East London.

The house was built during the 1920s and was at one time occupied by a midwife and as such, was the scene of many happy events.

This long-established bed and breakfast has welcomed guests from all corners of South Africa and neighbouring countries such as Namibia and Botswana as well as from countries such as Norway, Vietnam, Israel and Mauritius to mention just a few. A large number of guests return and many become firm friends.
