Bethsaida Recovery Centre

Bethsaida Recovery Centre was founded by Johan and Dr. Marieta van Rooyen (D.Th; Pastor/Counsellor), the parents of two sons who were involved in drug addiction. Their youngest son passed away in 2012 due to drug addiction and their eldest son is now a recovered drug addict who is working with them in Bethsaida Recovery Centre.
Hurting people must know that they are not alone. This family want to take hands with parents and families who are going through the same pain and frustrations. It is also of the utmost importance that people must move away from the “stigma” idea and realise that there is a person’s life at stake.
All our staff members are in recovery or have experienced addiction in their lives, and our team shares this information with care, compassion and professionalism.
Bethsaida Recovery Centre was inspired and ordained by God, because Jesus is the only answer to any addiction or behavior problems. There is no short term answer to this problem as any person needs to change their present thinking patterns to God’s thoughts about them and for them, which is based on the Word of God.
