Bertley's Holiday home has six large clean and modern bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms (2 of which are en-suites) and a separate WC. This luxury home has 2 good-sized balconies (with BBQ area), mountain views and partial sea view. It's an ideal house if you looking for a spacious stay, with a large games room consisting of pool table, dartboard, TV (including DSTV) and CD player, IPOD speakers and DVD machine. Bertley's has comfortable open plan lounge, dining room and bar area with beautiful exposed beams, high vaulted ceilings and lots of natural light. The kitchen and scullery areas are all well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, gas hob and electric cooker.This holiday home has a large walled garden with plenty of shade to relax and listen to the nearby rolling sea. Children can run and play to their delight! There is a swing set and trampoline to keep little ones entertained. There is also ample off-street secure parking. Bertley's is situated two streets back from the seafront and natural tidal pools.Even though Bertley's is a big house, it lends itself to smaller parties too, with the benefit of being able to use the top level which has 2 double bedrooms, en-suite and separate WC.
Take a walk along the stunning coastal path and enjoy the exquisite views and tranquility. For the bird lovers treat, take a short walk to the natural salt pan, home to a large population of flamingo's. Onrus Beach, which is adjacent to a warm, calm lagoon, is ideally suited to family outings, where small children can play in the calmer waters of the lagoon, and older children and adults can brave the waves of the sea. Once you have spent your time on the beach, make your way a short distance away to the local bistro and restaurant.For the golf lovers, the world renowned Arabella Golf estate and Spa is just a few minutes away. Take short drive into Hermanus (5KM), which is full of shops, markets, restaurants and nightlife. Because of the beautiful countryside that defines Onrus and its surrounds, this part of the Cape Overberg is also a much loved destination for those that have a passion for the outdoors. There are a number of walking, hiking, horse riding and cycling trails within very close proximity to Onrus, each of which shows off exquisite views, as well as the fauna and flora of the South African landscapes. While on holiday, why not take one of many boat trips to explore the magnificent coastline and bay, while looking for whales, dolphins, sharks, seals and seabirds. Apart from the Southern Right Whales, you would be able to view Brides Whales, Humpback Whales and why not try shark cage diving and see some Great White Sharks up close!!
