COMPANY PROFILE
Belvedere Medical Centre was duly licensed and opened its doors to the public on 30 November 2012. The clinic is the brain child of two qualified and experienced medical doctors, Dr Simbarashe Tatenda Makuni (Clinical Director) and Dr Mohammad Aejaz Anjum (Finance Director).
Belvedere Medical Centre is situated at 189 Samora Machel and Blakeway. We offer an incomparable service which caters for both up market clientele and the working middle class with the main catchment area being Belvedere, Harare North, Harare East and Harare South.

Our medical centre has the latest equipment on the market and experienced staff to ensure the delivery of top quality standardized service to all our patients. Our products have been well received by our targeted clientele; it attends to an average of 15 to 30 patients a day, a figure we expect to increase two folds soon. The pharmacy is a retail dispensary which sells medicines to everyone treated at the centre.

Accident and Emergency services, Specialist Consultancy, International Hospital Referral Facility.

Our Specialist Medical Centre has the following departments:

STAFF

The clinic has employed skilled mature and experienced personnel who have been in the medical sector for many years. The staff is highly skilled and delivers the best healthcare to patients. They are law abiding citizens with clean records. This gives peace of mind to the patients whom they will be attending to.

Directors

Dr M A Anjum (Finance Director)

He brings great value in the Medical Centre as he has vast experience as an entrepreneur and has a successful IT company which he is currently running. He holds an MBCHB Honours Degree which was obtained at the University Of Zimbabwe.

Dr S T Makuni (Clinical Director)

He gained experience and knowledge from working with institutions such as Harare Central Hospital in the Casualty Department. He has also done various elective attachments in the United Kingdom. He currently holds an MBCHB Degree which was obtained at the local University. As part of community service, he has worked with various charity groups such as Streets Ahead.
Clinic department and their functions

1.Reception and Waiting Area
All patients and visitors report to this area. They are ushered to various departments for appropriate reasons. The area is equipped with latest model metal benches, accompanied with a television and magazine for entertainment while the patients and the visitors wait for a short period of time before they receive appropriate service according to their needs.

2 Casualty/Consulting Room
It is in this department where patients are consulted. There is a doctor 24hrs daily. The department is manned by friendly and experienced staff. The department is equipped with state of the art equipment.

3 Resuscitation Room
This department usually becomes active in the case of accidents. Critically ill patients are attended to in these departments which is closer to the ambulance bay. Our staff are well versed with the use of Defibrillator, Suction Machine, and Emergency Trolley.

3 Observation /Admission Units
This department houses three (3) sections of observation namely; Male, Female and Paediatric Sections. People from all ages and sexes can be admitted for observations in this department. The department is equipped with nice beds and clean linen. Qualified, experienced, friendly, mature nurses man this department. This department is operational 24hrs.

4 Laboratory
It is in this department where samples and specimen are taken for investigations. This department is operational 24hrs and results are made available within a minimal time.

5 Acceptance for Services
The clinic accepts both cash and medical aid patients. However arrangements for treatment on accounts can be entertained. Companies and Organizations with multiple statuses are welcome.
