Bee Yoga Kids

Bee Yoga Kids offers classes to children between the ages of 3 - 12. They are introduced to the wonderful world of yoga by tapping into their creativity and imaginations through the use of storytelling, imagery, music, games, breathing techniques, positive mind-training and relaxation techniques.

Children learn how to move and stretch their bodies in a fluid yet fun way, imitating animals, places and nature which enables them to develop body awareness, strength and flexibility, core strength, posture, co-ordination and balance.

They learn different types of breathing skills which can either be energizing or relaxing, and how by controlling their breath they can control their emotions and state of being which in-turn helps reduce stress and anxiety.

Everyone is welcome. Classes are taught in a non-competitive environment where everyone is seen as equal. Kindness and acceptance of themselves and others as well as caring for the environment is promoted and taught by incorporating "Mindfulness".

The aim is to offer a safe, joyful environment where children can come and just Bee!!!
