Sheldrake Game Ranch

Sheldrake Game Ranch is a wildlife game reserve in the Limpopo valley.
This vast area (30 000 acres or 12 000 ha) of untamed natural
beauty boasts a wide variety of fauna and flora
offering prospective visitors the chance to experience
the abundance and serenity of nature in all its splendor.

More than 35 species of game and predators occur
in abundance, including disease fee Buffalo, Giraffe,
Leopard, Cheetah, Spotted & Brown Hyena, Crocodiles,
Waterbuck, Nyala, Bushbuck, Kudu, Eland, Impala, Blesbuck,
Zebra, Gemsbuck, Blue Wildebeest, Red Hartebeest,
Klipspringer, Steenbuck, Sharpe's Grysbuck, Duiker,
Ostrich, Bushpig, Warthog, Characal and Jackal.

Numerous smaller game, a wealth of bird life and at the
Voorburg river, the pre-historic looking crocodile and
a variety of waders and weavers can be observed.
